Seattle CISPES and Washington State Jobs with Justice present a May Day celebration. Live Caribbean music by the Georgetown Orbits - Food - Dancing. 7pm to 10pm, Seattle Labor Temple, 2800 1st Ave. $5-15 suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of funds.
A benefit for SETA, the union representing the workers of El Salvador's public water system, and Jobs with Justice. SETA is currently leading the national movement to stop water privatization in El Salvador. This event is also the send-off for CISPES' Seattle-to-Olympia Solidarity Cycle bike trip. |
